I had a request for this sort of painting...I struggle with the cliche' and how to avoid it.
I think in this instance...well it looks like an illustration from Robinson Crusoe!

    I think you are right. You just need 2 guys in ragged clothing to finish the picture. ha The water looks especially well executed. Good work.
