I saw this on a friend's counter and fell in love with the golden light coming through the jar. It was fun to paint, curious shapes and colors. I wonder what else in a jar would be an interesting subject....I'm thinking red peppers, okra....hmm.

Thanks for letting me know that! I love it. If your wife has any other interesting canning jar items....??? I am really loving to paint them, combining two of my favorite things to paint...glass and food! I admire that your wife does this, it seems to be rather rare in this day and age.
nice work on the jar. maybe the peppers I posted earlier would be interesting.
