Well they aren't walflowers per-say, just not beauty pageant types. Bunch of stuff from the yard...left over sunflower, and Tracy's new pecans. My sister-in-law Tracy came and painted with me today...we had fun chatting and painting away. Its like having coffe with a friend, but you get to leave with a prize. L.

Great Thoughts to ponder.

"We must take situations as they are. We must only change our mental attitudes towards them." (Maharishi Mahesh Yogi)

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." (Barack Obama)

"Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the Soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another to cause vibrations in the Soul." W. Kandinsky

Each day, one to the other, we produce what we can. There are good days and bad days. One can only do one's best with what one has been given. Natural form, atmosphere and design arouses, entangles, and often defeats you. From time to time there are passages of creative joy that make it all worthwhile. And tomorrow is always another day

. * The secret of the arts is to correct nature. * Man is free at the moment he wishes to be. * The happiest of all lives is a busy solitude. * Originality is nothing but judicious imitation. * Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers. * Work saves us from three great evils: boredom, vice and need.
