How exciting to paint a fish. At first I felt sorry for it, but Mary Elizabeth pointed out that we were memorializing it....so all better! Lacking any silver oil paint, it was fun to try and capture the shiny scale-y -ness of it. And, well.... its dour expression was sort of a winning point as well.
