There are things that I want just because I like the way they look....well that is everything in a way, but I mean things like the perculator coffee pot in this painting. Emblematic of something that I cherish, even though I probably have had perc'd coffee twice in my life! A beautiful reflective surface to paint is part of it, but really its a cozy kitchen, a paper waiting to be read, a great chat. You get it! - Oh and I love that the tulips are thinking "gee my legs look so long and thin!"

Admiring gaze. Lydia Host daily painting a day 11x14
