Lately I've been thinking about being in Paris. I pulled out some photos of Versailles fountain sculpture. Sigh. I painted these today in a mad rush.

Each day, one to the other, we produce what we can. There are good days and bad days. One can only do one's best with what one has been given. Natural form, atmosphere and design arouses, entangles, and often defeats you. From time to time there are passages of creative joy that make it all worthwhile. And tomorrow is always another day
